Back in September we reported that we would focus some of our efforts in the following quarter towards expanding and enhancing the profile of our long established training company and our association with IPC. Back then, we decided that a good place to start would be to establish a solid and recognised quality management system (QMS) that would work seamlessly with our existing services and enable us to give complete transparency in terms of professionalism and more importantly a guarantee of quality to our customers of the high standard that they have come to expect from us for the last 20 years. In light of this, we are excited to announce that the first phase of our QMS is now complete and we have been awarded ISO 9001 – 2015 accreditation. This certification is a very satisfying achievement for us at Impact and it now enables us to expand in many positive ways while assuring existing and prospective customers that their business is of the utmost importance to us.

Of course, putting a QMS in place seems on the face of it to be a fairly simple task but anyone who has been involved in it from the very beginning will know that the processes are not as easy as they first seem…We rapidly found this out! With time at a premium due to conducting online training courses, we were facing an uphill battle to get on top of the requirements of the system, so we would like to thank Brian Bowden for temporarily stepping out of retirement to assist us in this particular project…His experience has been valuable beyond estimation and without his help, none of this would have been possible!
Moving forward from phase 1, we will now focus our attention towards manufacturing and more exciting news regarding this will follow in due course.

For now, we would like to wish everyone a happy new year and let’s hope it will be slightly more positive than 2020. We would also like to thank everyone for their continued support and we look forward to working with you all again very soon.
